Project Scope: Beit Guvrin National Park is considered one of the most important heritage sites in Israel. One of only four Roman Amphitheatre’s in Israel, it could once seat 3,500 spectators.
PAZ has been engaged to plan a permanent system seating above the level in the western amphitheater part of Beit Guvrin. The design was based on galvanized steel frames that are supported rested on the inner and outer walls with longitudinal and vertical steel profiles between the frames of the lower level the seats, with upper timber panels and cladding boards to the seats.
